Lisa became an independent insurance agent for Insurers of Idaho after working for 17 years for health insurance carriers. She made the move so she could use her industry knowledge to advocate for consumers and help consumers navigate the complexities of the health insurance system. Throughout her career, Lisa focused on the needs of the health insurance consumer. She has a knack for communicating complex topics in a way that makes it easy to understand. In 2010 when the Affordable Care Act was passed into law and later implemented, Lisa’s role was to train salespeople and be a trusted resource for health insurance brokers and agents. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience to assist those who are in need of insurance coverage. Lisa holds a degree in Social Science/Communications from Boise State University. As a native Idahoan, she loves Idaho living, the outdoors and her family. She and her husband, John, have raised five children and now one grandchild in the Treasure Valley.
